As we gear up for the holidays, we thought we’d take a quick look at the year gone by and all the eventful things that happened at Pathway. 

We’ve had quite the ride, and everyone from the team at Pathway to our clients can agree that it’s been nothing short of crazy (in a good way, of course). 

So, without further ado, here’s a quick recap of all the things we’re proud we achieved in 2022:

Pathway is ISO 27001 certified! 

In a massive win for us, Pathway achieved ISO 27001 accreditation this year. The ISO 27001 accreditation proves to one and all that the integrity of our data and systems, as well as our commitment to information security, meets the globally accepted standard. 

“Globally accepted” may sound a bit average, but it’s an impressive feat — the ISO 27001 is the leading information security standard internationally. 

Hearing that we earned our certification was both very, very exciting and expected. 

Our team has worked tirelessly to secure it, and as most of our clients already know, we’ve strived to ensure that many of our internal policies and procedures meet the standards required for an ISO certification for a long time. 

Safeguarding our clients’ data has always been a top priority,  and we’ll continue to do it for as long as we serve you.

Cybersecurity isn’t the only thing we worked on in 2022.
In fact, we’ve got a few exciting highlights that we’re quite ecstatic about sharing…

We launched Form Builder

In a huge win for efficiency, we’ve launched Form Builder. 

Not only does it speed up the entire application and renewal process, but it provides businesses with massive time savings, reduces the costs associated with printing, and improves the customer experience by making it more seamless and less stressful. 

Our clients love Form Builder because it allows them to convert all their PDF questionnaires, application forms, and other insurance forms into convenient, easy-to-fill-out online forms. 

These forms can then be filled out and submitted by policyholders from their mobile devices, tablets, and computers. 

One aspect of Form Builder that we’re particularly proud of is the Analytics and Tracking feature. It allows clients to easily review and download all submitted responses directly from the Dashboard. The dashboard itself gives you a precise and accurate overview of the responses provided by policyholders as they roll in.

Another important aspect is the level of customization it offers. Clients can alter the questions and format — so it’s suitable for both personal and commercial insurance use cases. 

We released a new version of the Self-Service Kiosk

For insurance brokers committed to customer satisfaction and staying on top of the game, complying with constantly changing regulations and continuously improving their insurance products is a must. 

We’re well aware that the desire to stay current is a key driving factor behind companies’ decisions to build their own self-service portals instead of outsourcing the hard work to software vendors. 

We want to give our clients more options and possibilities, so we created a new version of the Self-Service Kiosk this year. It’s compliant with all current insurance regulations.

Our new portal offers users the ability to log in seamlessly, make payments instantly, access documents, file claims (including automatically), and even get 24/7 chat support with their insurance agency. All these features make it easier than ever for insurance companies and agencies to sell and renew policies.

For clients, the Self-Service Kiosk is easily accessible either as a website widget, desktop app, mobile app, or email widget. 

Like we hoped for, the new Self-Service Kiosk has been a hit with policyholders — particularly the younger ones who prefer to deal with all their insurance needs online. 

The simplistic, legible, and streamlined user interface makes the Self-Service Kiosk one of our proudest launches this year.

We launched the Mega Bot plan

Another major thing we did in 2022 was launch the Mega Bot plan. 

The Mega Bot plan is for clients that need all the automated workflows from Office Bot and Marketing Bot, plus additional features. 

These additional features include five custom-designed emails and unlimited monthly online meetings with customer success managers.

Not only is Mega Bot cheaper than both plans individually, but it’s also discounted for limited BMS/AMS integrations.

We launched a French webpage and platform

We’re very excited about the French version of our website finally being launched.

Although only the first phase of the project has been completed, the website looks great so far. 

This first phase involved translating the content on the website itself. 

The next phase will include translating Pathway’s UI, email templates, and the Staying in Touch articles from the Pathway library. We’re expecting the second phase to be completed shortly, as early as Q1 2023.

New integrations

Through our partnerships, we’ve always strived to ensure that our clients can achieve effective communication and grow long-term.

This year, we’re happy to announce a new partnership with Acturis, one if the leading management systems in the insurance industry.  

Acturis 

If you’re in the general insurance industry, you’ve likely heard of Acturis. Acturis is the UK’s leading Software–as–a–Service (SaaS) provider in the general insurance niche. 

Naturally, we couldn’t be more thrilled about this integration.

New markets 

In an exciting move, our partnership with Acturis allowed us to expand our presence across the ocean. So far, this expansion has provided us with an opportunity to engage with different perspectives and share our knowledge. 

Now that we’ve entered the UK market, you can expect to see further expansions in the near future. 


New partnerships

We’re stoked to announce that we’ve begun collaborations and partnerships this year with two of the most significant independent associations in the UK and America.

These associations are the British Insurance Broker Association (BIBA) and the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA)(also known as “BIG I”).

In 2023, you can expect to see further cooperation with associations, networks, and groups. Actively participating and contributing to several joint initiatives will be an active priority going forward. 

Many of these partnerships will benefit our clients. We aim to give them the tools and resources they need to excel in the insurance business and provide award-winning customer experiences.
